Any opportunity to be green, help the local community and work together and the Principle team is there in a flash!

Last Friday (10 June) 10 of our staff volunteered with Groundwork to renovate St. Johns Community garden in Shoreditch, London which was set up in conjunction with the 2012 Olympics and had fallen into disrepair due to the pandemic.

Prior to this deterioration, the garden was regularly used by local residents to grow vegetables, flowers and fruits. It was now in need of some TLC, and beds were needed for the new railway sleepers that had recently been donated. Joining Ben and Lauren of the Groundwork team, our colleagues did an amazing job of getting this done, along with tidying the fruit trees.

We’ve had fantastic feedback from the team at Groundwork, following the effort and hard work that all of our volunteers put in! Well done and thank you all!
