We’re delighted to announce that Shannon Stewart-Berry, Head of Sustainability, has been shortlisted for the PFM Awards’ Young Leader of the Year!
Since joining Principle in 2021, Shannon has progressed from Sustainability Manager to Head of Sustainability, growing our Sustainability Team and helping embed sustainability into every team member’s role and across all client locations.
Through her leadership, Shannon has helped turn sustainability from strategy into action – driving measurable environmental and social impact, strengthening our ESG strategy, developing future sustainability talent and working closely with colleagues, clients and supply chain partners to deliver change.
Her work has contributed to a 46% reduction in emissions against our baseline, £690,000 of social value, and initiatives including an 88% reduction in CO₂e emissions at one client location. She also plays an active role in the wider FM community through industry events, panel discussions and her work with the IWFM London Region Committee. Shannon’s approach is simple: make sustainability practical, bring people with you and create lasting change.
