A Fantastic Five: Principle Announced as Finalists in IWFM Impact Awards

From supporting clients on their journey to Net Zero to investing in the wellbeing and development of our people, Principle Cleaning Services is proud to be announced as finalists in five categories at this year’s IWFM Impact Awards:

  • Wellbeing – Principle Cleaning Services and The Wellbeing Academy
  • People Development and Talent Retention – Principle Cleaning Services, Victoria House and Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst
  • Positive Climate Action: Towards Net Zero – Principle Cleaning Services and Savills at Ropemaker Place
  • Positive Climate Action: Towards Net Zero – Principle Cleaning Services
  • IWFM Everyday Excellence – Shannon Berry

These nominations reflect the breadth of work taking place across Principle, from helping clients progress towards their sustainability goals and investing in colleague wellbeing, to developing our people and recognising the outstanding contribution of individuals who continue to make a difference every day.

We are delighted to see Operations Director Victoria Jaramillo and The Wellbeing Academy’s work to establish Principle’s mental health and wellbeing strategy recognised. The wellbeing and mental health of our people has always been a huge priority, and Victoria has transformed Principle’s approach to workplace wellbeing by developing a proactive, manager-led programme that equips leaders with the skills and confidence to identify, prevent and support work-related stress.

Additionally, in response to industry skills shortages and an ageing workforce, our teams and partners at Victoria House and Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst have implemented an innovative people development strategy that progresses cleaning operatives into skilled laboratory support professionals. Their recognition in the awards is extremely well-deserved.

We are also incredibly proud of the work achieved alongside Savills at Ropemaker Place. Our collaborative approach to ESG reflects a shared commitment to environmental responsibility and demonstrates how working in partnership can drive meaningful, sustainable progress.

Head of Sustainability, Shannon Berry, was nominated in the IWFM Everyday Excellence category in recognition of her dedication, leadership and commitment to embedding sustainability throughout our business and supporting our clients on their own ESG journeys.

We would like to thank and congratulate our teams and clients; your hard work, collaboration and shared ambition continue to make achievements like these possible.

Our congratulations also extend to all finalists. We look forward to celebrating together at the IWFM Impact Awards later this year and wish everyone the very best of luck!
