Principle and Partners Raise £8,000 for Richard House

Yesterday, under blazing sunshine, more than 30 of our valued supplier partners – Bywaters, Darwin Clayton, ICE, Liberty  Hygiene, Kärcher, TomCat, Recorra and Mayflower Washroom Solutions –  joined members of Principle’s senior leadership team for a fantastic 18 holes of golf at The Shire in North London, in support of our charity partner, Richard House Children’s Hospice.

Principle’s third annual golf day got off to a flying start with bacon rolls, teas, and coffees, in true Principle Golf Day fashion. Nine teams of four then took to the course, which proved to be as challenging as it was rewarding, with some tricky hazards and sweltering heat testing even the most seasoned players.

Midway through the day, we were honoured to be joined by Paul Richards, CEO of Richard House. Paul gave a deeply moving talk about the families the hospice supports and the palliative and end-of-life care they provide for children from newborns to 18-year-olds. His words were a powerful reminder of the incredible work Richard House does and why fundraising like this is absolutely vital.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved we were able to raise an amazing £8,000 to support the hospice’s vital services.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a golf day without some well-earned recognition for the top performers. Congratulations to all our winners:

1st Place: Kärcher – 89 points
2nd Place: Darwin Clayton – 87 points
3rd Place: Liberty – 83 points
Longest Drive: Bywaters’ Jonathan Mays
Nearest the Pin: Principle’s Mike Darmanin

Prizes were presented by Tom Lloyd, CEO, and Matt Kuwertz, Commercial Director, in celebration of a day that was truly on par with the very best.

A huge thank you to everyone for making the day a huge success, we’re already looking forward to next year’s!
