Last Friday, more than 150 of our colleagues came together for Principle’s first company update of 2025. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, reflect on the year so far and celebrate our collective progress.
It was wonderful to see so many faces, both familiar and new. During his opening speech, Principle’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Doug Cooke, introduced our new starters and updated us on internal movements within the business. As a company dedicated to retaining and nurturing talent, we take pride in our frequent internal promotions and career progression opportunities.
Principle’s CEO, Tom Lloyd, provided an insightful update on the progress we’ve made so far this year. Lilia Lamberto – Managing Director of Operations, and David Saville – Managing Director of Vertical & Specialist, shared exciting news about recent contract wins and extensions. This was followed by presentations from our Sustainability, HR, IT, Health & Safety, Commercial, and One Principle teams, each showcasing the outstanding work happening behind the scenes to drive our company forward.
We were also delighted to welcome Valene Lockhart and Vincent Davis from our charity partner, Richard House Children’s Hospice. They shared an eye-opening update on the number of families they support, the significant financial costs involved, and the vital impact of our fundraising efforts. Their insights served as a meaningful reminder of why our charitable contributions matter.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and joined remotely, and to all the colleagues who presented. It’s always inspiring to hear about the hard work and dedication across the business, and it was wonderful to see so many stay afterwards for drinks and socialising.
