This year’s Back to the Floor Week fell during one of the hottest weeks in London, but that didn’t stop our Directors, Head Office and Operations teams (and even some of our clients) from getting stuck in and giving it their all.
From polishing fixtures and fittings and operating scrubber driers to experiencing the cradle first-hand, the week gave our office-based colleagues valuable insight into the hard work and skill behind every cleaning task. They saw the precision it takes to clean a window to perfection, the physical effort required to handle machinery, and the attention to detail needed to maintain immaculate standards across our sites.
But Back to the Floor is more than just a hands-on experience, it’s a powerful way to strengthen understanding and connection between our operational and office teams. It builds appreciation, empathy, and awareness of the day-to-day challenges faced by our frontline colleagues. It also generates practical insights that help us shape better support systems and improve how we work together.
Despite the heat, the energy, teamwork and commitment were incredible. Our teams took on every task with enthusiasm, demonstrating the collaboration and shared values that define who we are.
