This week Peter Smith (right, above) handed over the role of CEO to Tom Lloyd (left); previously Principle’s Deputy CEO.
We’re thankful for Peter’s contribution and leadership within the business and delighted that he is only stepping back rather than stepping out of the business, as he will remain in the business and continue to build on the amazing relationships he has since joining the company 14 years ago.
Tom joined Principle in 2015 and the business will continue to benefit greatly from his 20 years + in the industry as we maintain our focus on people, sustainability and innovation. Commenting on his appointment, Tom said:

Principle has evolved to become a major brand in the cleaning market and this is an exciting new phase for the company, but with the same family style values it was founded on. I have a first class team behind me helping to deliver our strategic growth plans, which include new innovations, enriching client partnerships and driving sustainability – not just for us as a company but leading the industry.
“Peter is still very much a part of this business, he has a vast amount of experience and has built some excellent relationships over the past 12 years, driving the growth that has led Principle to become a market leader today.”
