Yesterday, more than 25 of our valued supplier partners joined us for Principle’s fourth annual One Principle Charity Golf Day, and what a day it was!
Taking to the fairways were teams from Bywaters, Darwin Clayton, ICE, Liberty Hygiene, Wessex, Recorra and Mayflower Washroom Solutions, alongside members of Principle’s leadership team. Returning to The Shire in North London, the day combined 18 holes of friendly competition with valuable networking opportunities and fundraising in support of our new charity partner, Under One Sky.
While long-standing supporters, TomCat, were sadly unable to make it this year, they still showed their support with a generous donation!
The day got off to a strong start with bacon rolls, tea and coffee, before eight teams of four headed out for staggered tee-offs.
After navigating bunkers, birdie opportunities and even the occasional swan determined to disrupt play, everyone returned to the clubhouse where we were delighted to welcome Mikkel, founder of Under One Sky. Mikkel shared powerful insights into the charity’s work supporting people experiencing homelessness across London and beyond, bringing home the real reason behind the day’s fundraising efforts.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supplier partners, an outstanding £8,000 was raised on the day. Principle proudly matched this amount, bringing the total donation to an incredible £16,000 for Under One Sky.
The fundraising may have been the day’s biggest win, but there was still time to celebrate some impressive performances on the course.
