After it was announced by Doug Cooke – Principle’s Chairman and Founder – on Thank Your Cleaner Day, Principle staff from all over the business celebrated at the summer party yesterday!
Over 900 guests filled the Woolwich Works space in South East London for a fantastic afternoon of music, food and drink as staff and their families came together for the first time in 3 years.
We were also joined by Connor from Richard House Children’s Hospice, our corporate charity partner, who hosted the tombola stand with some of our team where remarkably more than £700 was raised and Doug has agreed the company will match that, taking the total raised for Richard House yesterday to £1,400!
There was delicious food from a variety of street food vendors and homemade desserts from talented bakers within the company, entertainment for all ages including a DJ, face painting, hook a duck and giant games Jenga, Connect 4 and buzz wire.
The afternoon finished with words of thanks from Doug, for the past two years in particular, and a group photo to remember the day by.
Thank you to all who joined us, it was lovely to see all the children thoroughly enjoying themselves, and of course thank you to everyone who helped to organise such a super day! We look forward to next year’s event!
